Today's Carpe Diem Snapshot: "You don't know what you've got until it's gone" is an expression that is true for so many simple daily pleasures we often take for granted. These last two chill, gray days were thankfully followed by brilliant sunshine this morning, a gift of nature met with glee and renewed appreciation. In fact, all the green things growing were truly glowing with a renewed vitality today, an effect due to refraction.
Vegetation wasn't the only thing affected by the shift in seasons. School drifted out-of-doors, flowers were gathered, kittens were played with, and the afternoon was filled with shenanigans in the midst of studies (it was difficult to choose just one photo to display here!). Carpe lux solaris!
