Today's Carpe Diem Snapshot: Golden hour is all too brief, Valentina and I discovered today in the umbrella pine grove at Villa Pamphili. After finally finding a sunny unoccupied spot, I had to almost immediately get up and drag the picnic blanket across the tall, lush grass to catch the remaining rays as the sun shifted to the south-west. At least I caught this snapshot just before the sun slipped behind the tree line and the magic disappeared for another day.
