Human: 49 BC – Julius Caesar crossed the Rubicon and began the civil war. Caesar said the famous words – The die is cast!– crossing the Rubicon river, which is a symbolic border between Gaul and Italy. In Roman law legions were forbidden to cross this border, and because Caesar broke that rule, it was in fact a declaration of war. In this way he began a civil war that ended with his triumph and the defeat of his main rival, Pompey.

New Words: Pandiculation- the involuntary, instinctive stretching of soft tissues; Interoception- a sense that provides information about the internal condition of our body. It can be both conscious and subconscious. Interoception allows us to experience many body sensations such as hunger, thirst, stress, or emotion.
