Today's Carpe Diem Snapshot: As long-time followers of Calendar Class will know, I am a big fan of the fascinating and highly informative homilies of Fr. Geoffrey Plant from Sydney, Australia. As chance would have it, the evening of the 26th found the Assafs in the Domus Australia, at a Mass celebrated by the Archbishop of Sydney, Anthony Fisher, OP. At the reception that followed in honor of Australia Day, I was able to converse with the Archbishop and convey my appreciation for the excellent contribution to Catholic evangelization made by a priest of his archdiocese!
