Today's Carpe Diem Snapshot: The Art and Architecture class explored Trastevere today- Santa Maria, Santa Cecilia (in the photo), San Benedetto, San Crisogono, and all the piazze and winding little streets. It's always one of the students' favorite neighborhoods, and easily accessible to us at the foot of the Janiculum hill. The students keep Rome journals during the semester, with sketches of their observations and reflections in both writing and art. Valentina has embraced this assignment with enthusiasm.
