A Carpe Diem Snapshot:

Sometimes a Carpe Diem moment is an encounter with something so small that we are forced to stop, stay still, and just wonder at its perfection and fragility. The girls found and named this new outdoor "pet" Frank Churchill.

1599 – birthday of John Berchmans, Belgian Jesuit scholastic and saint (d. 1621). Buried in the church of Sant'Ignazio, Rome.


Natural: National Elephant Day (Thailand)-- the rare white elephant is the national animal of Thailand and holds significance in Buddhist and Hindi mythology.
