A Carpe Diem Snapshot: Today we drove through very British-like weather to northern Michigan to join the celebrations for this little lady's 7th birthday, the age of reason. As you can see, there was a Harry Potter theme for this daughter of a fellow bibliophile, the author Ashlee Cowles. Her last two publications, written under the pseudonym A.D. Rhine, which she shares with author Danielle Stinson, were the historical epics Horses of Fire and Daughters of Bronze, which I hope will take up a good part of my summer!
